Coaching Opportunities

With so much netball happening in the London and South East Region there is always a demand for coaches. Below are some of the opportunities that have been received by the Regional Office. If you are looking for something closer to home it is always worth approaching your local clubs as it is very rare that clubs have too many coaches! If you need help contacting local clubs your Netball Development Officer can help put you in contact.

We are searching for a coach who can come to our training sessions each week and work with players of all abilities to help develop their skills, put those skills into game play and of course have fun! We will have players who are returning to netball after a long break, players who are just coming along to get fit and many competitive players. Barts and the London Netball Head Coach

Salary/Expenses Paid: £20-25 (Depending on experience)

Level of Qualification desirable: Level 2 Qualification

Summary:  To assist with trials and the formation of our top 4 teams, to coach and train players from our top 4 netball teams focusing on specific areas of game play, in particular, improving the skills of our 1st and 2ndteams.

Training days: We train once a week on Thursday from 6-7:30pm at St Pauls Way Trust School in Bow/ Mile End area of East London.

Full details: Our club has 7 teams but the coaching role would only be involved in training the top 4 teams. We need a coach to tailor training sessions to specific areas for improvement, which team captains will identify at games, and create drills to address these skills. We will split training sessions into 1st and 2nd team together, and 3rd and 4th team together, to make skills addressed more tailored to competition levels.

Our main goals for the upcoming season are to have our 1st team finish in the top 3 of both leagues, a double promotion in both BUCS and LUSL for the 2nd team as this was narrowly missed out on this year, to have our 3rd team finish 2nd in LUSL

1st: 2B
2nd: 5B
3rd: 7B
4th: 10B
