Here If You Need: Mental Health for Young Netballers

The Young Volunteer Working Group of the London and South East Regional Netball Association, in partnership with stem4 (https://stem4.org.uk/), are proud to host 'Here If You Need: Mental Health for Young Netballers’.

'Here If You Need' is a FREE webinar on mental health for young netballers in the London & South East Region, created in collaboration with stem4 who specialise in teenage mental health. The webinar will include a talk by CEO and Founder of stem4, Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Nihara Krause, who will speak about mental health, netball and the pandemic.

We will also hear from London Pulse athlete Peace Akinyemi about her experience of managing mental health while playing netball at elite level. Peace has been a member of the Pulse U21 squad for the past three seasons and is also a member of the Roses National Academy where she forms part of the Leadership Group. She has represented England at U17 Netball Europe and is an U21 NPL Silver medallist.

There will be the opportunity for a Q&A at the end of each session. The webinar will take place over Zoom, and any questions you ask can remain anonymous.
