A sunny day on Sunday 10th April saw clubs from across the region converge at Brunel University Sports Park in anticipation of a wonderful day of netball.

The display of skill and ability was exceptional with Cobham, Breakaways, Telstars
and CFX grabbing top spots in their groups to gain places in the semi-finals.

The teams were keen to get on with the semi-finals and even took their places on court before the umpires had been allocated!

The semi-final were contested between:

Cobham v CFX 4 - 14

Telstars v Breakaways 14 - 2

Everything fell into place for CFX and Telstars, the finalists, who performed well
under pressure from their opponents.

The first half of the final was hotly contested with teams drawing 2 all at half time. CFX piled on the pressure during the second half, and were the eventual winners,
8 – 4. Congratulations to both CFX and Telstars who will go on to represent the
region at the Nationals on 14th and 15th May in Loughborough.
