Sue Hawkins, the England Netball National Coach delivered a workshop in Kent on Sunday 18th January for all coaches in the Region. The workshop proved extremely popular, with over sixty coaches booking their places. Players from the Regional Talent Development Programme were invited to assist Sue with her practices and demonstrations, proving to be a once in a life-time opportunity for many!

Sue covered many areas of the game including shooting, ‘hunting’ defence, and midcourt attack. It was an extremely valuable day, and a rare opportunity for our Region’s coaches to work with the National Coach.

This workshop was the first workshop delivered by the National Coach in London and South East. Over the next two years Sue will return to deliver further workshops tailor-made to suit the needs of our coaches. We look forward to welcoming Sue back next season!
