RTDP brings together selected athletes from all the county academies once a month. These players undergo intense individualized training. The Focus is on working within units and aerobic conditioning. At this stage there is greater individualization of fitness and technical training. The emphasis remains on training and skill development with competition being used to test and refine skills. RTDP also prepares athletes for National Screening. If an athlete is successful at National Screening they will enter the National Excel Pathway. At this level athletes should continue to compete for their schools and clubs, with some athletes being selected for the Netball Talent League Squads.
